who have had heart transpants, have said that there personality has changed. one woman said that before her transplant she had no interest in football (soccer), but after the transplant she did, the same with food.
the donor was a young man, who liked football and the same food that the woman now liked.

if this is true, could it be the soul of the donor?

This is such a weird phenomena its mostly associated with the heart when transplanted , research showed doctors that the heart was an independent organism and could store memories like a mini brain , and what i found more enlightening was we all knew the brain was connected to the heart but we didn't realise the heart independently sends signals to the brain. when a test was done showing people firstly horrific images then nice and peaceful one ,with the brain and the heart both being monitored it was a shocking result to find the heart was first to react to the stimulus then the message was sent to the brain fascinating but this research isn't widely acknowledged yet as more research is needed.

I do not think it is true. It is a nice story without prove.
The liking of football definitely is not placed in the heart. It is in the head (or maybe in the feet). But is is possible that people have to improve their condition by playing football and come to like football.

the world of theories is a broad spectrum and u could be right about that but it also could be that after having a life saving surgery those who recieved the organ took up new interests in life as a way of "stopping to smell the roses"

No. Even those who do not have heart transplant, may have different interests during their lifetime.
