What are some things I can do with my hair so it will still be down but not just be hanging there?

It's a little past my shoulders, straight and really really thick.

You could put in in a queen guenivere. What you do is you take the locks at the side of your face and braid them then you clip or rubber band the to braids together behind your head. it's really pretty and it keeps your hair out of your face.
Or you could do what I call the eomer hairdo. You take the hair on top of your head and the stuff at the sides of your face and tie that in a little ponytail. It's how eomer does his hair in the lord of the rings movies but it's actually really girly and pretty. I wear mine like that alot.

Part your hair however you normally do. Then take either the left or right side of your bangs (just one side). now pull it back & up about 3-4 inches and pin it in place with a bobby pin. Even cuter if the bobby pin has rhinestones. You could pin up both sides if you wanted but I like it with just one.

you could roll it on rollers & then brush out the curls, it'll give you some nice volume & your hair wont be just hanging there. You could even leave the curls instead of brushing them out & have the volume & pretty curls

take sections of hair twist it tight and spray it, then while it's still twisted curl it with a bigger curling Iron and then it will give you the victoria secret curls, you can do the same with hot rollers too.
