Savannah has some cool places, also look into the Sea Islands, where there's some b&b's that are really nice.

If you want a nice, natural gorgeous spot try Cloudland Canyon, Ga. It is beautiful but really outdoorsy...
I think the suggestions about Savannah are good too - it really depends on what you want to do.
If you want a lot of nice down time with no shopping and activities like that I would head to Cloudland - shopping, restaurants - Savannah
There are some great Bed & Breakfasts in North Georgia.

Good luck and enjoy your anniversary

Callaway Gardens is such a nice romantic place. Perfect for an anniversary. You can take it easy and be wined and dined or let loose and have some real fun. You can walk through the gardens with your spouse or sit and watch the steeple chases. Or how about visiting the amazing butterfly room?
