by asking who is glad not to live in Cali, i got a lot of rude answers.?

All I know of California is what tv, movies, or the media portray. Im sure Ca is just like anywhere; there are good and bad everywhere. There are rude people here, too. I think California may be a fun place to visit, but may be a little too fast paced for me. I live in a small city on the east coast. Not much traffic, people are mannerly and mostly kind. Sorry you are having a hard time with rude people, but it is an individual problem with them, hopefully not everyone in the state.

Seriously, what the hell is your problem with California? You should just come out and tell us because you make such a big deal about it. You must hate it for some reason, rational or not.

I was born and raised in California, by California natives. I love it here. I don't understand the people who trash it, because they have never been here.

It's a very big state and there's lots of different facets to it. There's snooty rich places like Beverly Hills, and ghetto run down places like Inglewood. There's nice, quaint beachside places like Carpinteria, which is where I live, and I think my town is just right.

Please...to the people trashing it, get a life...celebrities, gangbangers and hippie liberal fruitcakes are not the only people who live in California. Although I do admit that we have more of those types of people than most states.

Please people. Be civilized people and dont swear. If you guys all reread your answers you would say to yourself," Im so stupid for posting that answer." You can prove your point without swearin' Like I was saying before how they were talking like that. The reason why i think Californians are stupid is because they think everybody is jealous of them. Not all of them are like that though but the ones that are is making where they came from look bad. My family use to live in California when i was a youngster, my sister was telling me how she wouldn't want to go back, and that here is better. I dont know why people get so upset about it though. Man. Its just a state calm down.

Well thatz b/c some ppl see Cali. as the heaven fro plastic surgery, and Celeb. Troubles. I for 1 know that i sure as hell would love to live somewhere other than NJ right now, b/c we had no budget...and stuff. Anyway, i see Cali. as a heaven 4 rich, snooty ppl...but that is just my opinion, so it dont matter.

Lived here all my life....hoping to leave very soon. It's not a rude question. The truth is everyone thinks California is so great to live in, but it isn't all that it's cracked up to be. I am tired of the crime, the bad air quality, everything is so expensive.

My sentiments exactly. It is not the ocean or the whales. Hey it might have a quake and break of and be an island and let the rest of us be close to the ocean. That would be nice.

Whales are really nice. I would rather have them for neighbors and fish are very pretty. I love to look at fish.
