~Rumor has it that they found Saddam. I saw him on Court TV. They're trying to sign bin Ladin to a Nike commercial.

Not to judge, but I am guessing English is a second or third language for you. Am i correct? If not, you might want to proof read your posts to make sure the content is understood.
Of course it does. The US economy flies every time a big war happens. We can ship all the young men off to fight and die while big business can stay behind and raise prices through the roof because the government will always buy from them. Why? Those holding public offices are usually funded and lobbied by big business to such a point democracy would be impossible without some kind of revolt by the populace.

War affects any economy. The effect on the American economy has been minimal at this time, the big purchases and related matters have not occurred as of yet. Not sure that they will, The military has tremendious reserves and that is what is being utilized right now. After the war, we will have to replenish the reserves and that is when the economy will boom

America's wars always effect our economy. We may not feel the effect immediately, but war is always expensive. In the future, we may have to wage wars only on the basis of expense. For example, if we had to extend our deployment further than operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and attack Iran and North Korea simultaneously, we wouldl have to concentrate solely on eliminating their power to make war. But we could still do that. In that case, we SHOULD do that. The economic impact of war will be felt as we are paying for it. It is expensive. It will also be felt afterwards as we promote prosperity among our neighbors, which will advance our own prosperity. That is how it goes. Sow now. Reap later. Does it cost a lot of money to eliminate threats to the public welfare? Sure it does. However, a terrorist on the run is worth 50,000 in the undergrowth. I trust that my government has employed 100s of bright minds to estimate the economic impact of waging wars, and that we are not just fighting to keep up our "rep."

Yes!
We've spent 1/2 Trillion making the wealthy wealthier and we are no where close to Osama.
Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. We shouldn't even be there!!

Nope.
Our economy is simply too large to be affected by the amount of money the war is costing us.
