So if anyone knows what she's wanting, please let me know what to look for, so I can get this lady what she wants. Thanks peeps.

I guess I should clarify this a little, but thanks for your answers so far, but its the actual BAR inside, its not a bar(a drinking establishment) decorated with neon lights its the bar itself where your drinks sit that is lit with neon lights. Sorry for any confusion.

Try Los Angeles Historic Bars of the 30's 40's 50's 60's. There are a lot of color photos of neon signs that you are looking for on this website: http://www.latimemachines.com/new_page_5.htm

You really have me wondering, cause there was a movie, probably in the 70's that I saw, not that it was taken place in the 70's, that has a bar like you discribe with neon lighs all over the place, walls, real thick on the ceiling, everywhere and I have thought of this off and on since.. The movie , midnight cowboy comes to my mind, but not sure..but you really have me thinking on this now,,I tried google and yahoo "bars neon lights photos" but not much there..

Type "neon lit bar" into Google, you'll find a few pics and some places where you can purchase one.

Is she thinking about Edward Hopper's "Nighthawks"? It's a diner, not a bar--but it's of that time period, and it is neon-lit. Check it out here: http://www.myfavoritebullet.com/Nighthawks_Hopper.jpg
