Hey Bigrack, I couldn't post on a question you asked earlier about your thin, hungry, thristy friend. But at the tip top of my differential diagnosis (way above worms and anorexia) is Diabetes Type I. You're friend may be in a very bad way, hyperglycemic. Get her help ASAP.

As for being a dentist? Good grades, an interest in the sciences, and living a life worth talking about (you have to interview to get into school and even if you have good grades, you don't get in to a good school unless you've done more in life than study). Most people have interesting lives, and focus too little on the studying, though.

since dentistry is at least an 8 year commitment after high school and you won't know anything about teeth until after you start dental school, take a 6 month break after high school and become a dental assistant (or use one of those on-line dental assitant programs) and it will either make you like it or hate it.

You could just brush your basic sciences skills and knowledge, for eg: Biology and Anatomy and Biochemistry as they begin dentistry with those subjects. You could also solve MCQs on those subjects as they will help you in your admissions.
