Well, you can do just about anything you want. Most guys don't play "hard-to-get" unless they have other women that they are interested in.
Also...you rock for making even thinking of making the effort to ask a guy out! That is something that needs to happen more.

Just say Do you want to go out with me for lunch or a coffee sometimes or have a chat? Just that simple. If he decline, then it's cool. Just ask. And don't get discourage just cuz' he rejects, always ask and see. It's not a big deal that he says no.

All you have to do is start talking him. And while you are having a conversation slip in how you feel about him and ask him if he would like to go on a date with him. If so exchange #s and you set up a date and time.

Well i might be ten but my bf asked me out not me ask him out. but this summer i am going to ask him out [ and you can check my profile of my questions that are all about him ] and i am going to ask him if he would like to go to the river with me and i am going to explan about how much really like him and ask him out. good luck.

for my perspective most guys like when girls are beign bold, they take initiative by knowing what they want, start by a small conversation and lead him in asking him on what does he feel about you?, or what does he think of you.
