Nope, it means he is going to check to see if you are legal on his computer. IF he finds any problem with it, he will be in touch with you or, depending on your age, your parents. If there is no problem, than you go off sweet. Don't push your luck, get yourself current with the DMV. Good luck and good question!!

no you will not get a ticket if he didn't issue you one on the spot. He checked the tags saw the car was not stolen, and just had your friend drive until you got your license out of your underwear drawer

lucky you. why can't a person receive a ticket if they're not licensed? my first ticket was when i was 15, a friend of mine got his first at 12. we weren't really bad kids, we were motorheads. just speed safer next time out. it helps to get or have a license too.

Lucky Stiff!!Rare Nice officer.It happened to me once.I was forced by a tailgater {drunk as skunk}To floor my awesome racecar.I was clocked at 146 mph {in Ohio},getting away from this drunken crazy.Cop was car nut,and nice.had never seen auto like mine,and 3 cop cars could not keep up with me.he Gave me warning,other nut in Dodge charger went to JAIL!

u dont have to have ur liscnense on u as long as u can remember ur SSN and Drivers Liscense number ur good to go also he can still give u a ticket if he didnt at the time but odds are u wont so dont worry

i don;t think they can give you a ticket if you arent registered at the dmv somehow. you'll probably get screwed eventually. try not to worry about it.
