I have a mutt named Kairi after the character in the video game "Kingdom Hearts", and a husky named Krysta. I know that isn't so creative; my fiance wanted a "Russian" type name for her, but I think Natasha would have been better or something similar.

Our first Siamese was called Sam Ting, based on a very bad joke, dealing with immigrants new to America. The officer can't understand names he is given, so when one of them says Sam Ting, the worker thinks he is saying, "Same Thing." Sad.
My three boys (also cats) were (and still is for my old man) Jaxom (Jax for short), Duncan and Morgan. The names came from fantasy books I enjoyed. Today Jax has to hang with Ollie and Inky, and they both respond remarkably well their names. Jax does, too, when he feels like it.

My snowshoe Siamese was named Pirate because we bought him at a pet shop at the beach. (Died recently after 17 years.)
Our calico is named Mocha because she looks like she has splatters of coffee and chocolate on her milky body.
Our Russian Blue is very elegant & regal and is named Maykayda. People kept suggesting I name her the Queen of Sheba and I found her name was Makeda . . . so I changed it to pronounciation we liked.
