This is usually a very bad practice. It something goes wrong and you have to continue working with the person it can be vey difficult. Very few relationships end well when they end.

In my experience it's not a good idea to date a co-worker, and I would advise you against doing so.

I have been happily with my boyfriend for 5 1/2 months. We used to be coworkers. I started dating him in the same way I would any other person. I asked him if he was interested in me and he said he was. And there you go. Everyone was happy for us and still is. He no longer works at the place we started dating but I sure am glad he did at one time. :)

As the saying goes "you should never get your meat and your bread in the same place". I have been there and done that so don't do it.
