I don't know why it came to mind, but I just thought of the most disgusting food I've ever eaten--warm, mushy breaded calves' brains (in eighth grade--made by other students for our public high school social studies class). In a sense, a Velveeta hamburger quiche was equally bad in taste--just not as bad on paper.

Squirrel in first grade was strange, but I don't remember it being particularly disgusting.

So, what is the most repulsive food you've personally eaten (or drunk)? I don't need the recipes. Really. Thanks.

Several years ago my older sister and I were in Chicago and had dinner at this lovely Greek Restaurant, where you order an entire meal not just a few items from the menu, when our dessert arrived it was a pudding with what seemed to be grapes, we loved it so much we ask for another bowl and the owner ask if we had really enjoyed "The Goat's Eye Pudding" the "grapes" were actual boiled goat's eyes! I've NEVER eaten Greek food again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It may sound disgusting but the answer is dung beetles. (Which actually feed on the dung of animals) In Thailand dung beetles are raised as 'scarabs' twice the size of an ordinary dung beetle. The white meat of a puba (just before becoming adult) is a rare and expensive delicacy

I have never eaten it, nor will I ever eat it, but I have witnessed my sister-in-law eat raw sushi in front of me! That's just wrong......meat needs to be cooked to eat it. I almost vomited right there at the restaurant. Then again, I didn't know that we were going to a Japaneze restaurant at the time.

Curried goat; I had it in the bahamas. Fatty, stringy and gamey.

Some ppl might say octopus, but I like it in paella.
