Do I have that? Some days I am very logical, intelligent, and other days I am so violent and hostel, and other days I am all depressed and nothing matters.

On my good days, I know right from wrong and try to be good. On my violent days I just plane do not care about being nice even though I know the difference between right and wrong. In addition, on my depressed days I just do not care about any thing.

Multiple personality disorder is not something that can be disguised from other people as well as many other mental health issues, like depression or even schizophrenia (depending on the severity). IF you had multiple personalities (multiple meaning MORE THAN 2) then others would know it BUT YOU WOULDNT. That disorder is very rare and is usually a result of some incredulously traumatic incidence, coupled with a genetic predisposition to mental illness (although the same things can catalyze other disorders, many people with MPD have experienced things you couldn't even imagine).
The symptoms you are describing point to bipolar disorder, which is in no way related to multiple personality disorder. It is very very good that you are able to identify your feelings and see the difference in your behavior, because serious mental illness involves a complete break from reality (like if I told you that there was something wrong with you and that the aliens havent landed in your bedroom and you insist that they have and there's something wrong with me instead). You apparently are not progressed too far in your illness if you are able to identify something is wrong, so that's a very good thing- IF you do something about it. PLEASE go to a professional IMMEDIATELY- there are many medicines and theapies available now that can help you lead a normal life! I will keep you in prayer. Don't forget to go to God first! He will show you the right direction, and He will heal you.

MPD - Multiple Personality Disorder is so very rare that there have only been a few true diagnosed cases in history, and they are typically quite famous.

There are so many other explanations including bi-polar (sounds the closest) or a simple chemical imbalance.

If you feel that a meditative path is not the best for resolution in this matter, you should see a doctor to have it officially diagnosed (a psychiatrist to be more specific) and then go with their thoughts on the matter.

Love as always,

Sebastian

It sounds like a bipolar disorder but it needs to be diagnosed by someone who is certified. It's easy to control through medicine. I hope that you will think about seeing someone. Your life will be much easier if you do.

Bipolar disorder, also known as manic-depressive illness, is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in a person's mood, energy, and ability to function. Different from the normal ups and downs that everyone goes through, the symptoms of bipolar disorder are severe. They can result in damaged relationships, poor job or school performance, and even suicide. But there is good news: bipolar disorder can be treated, and people with this illness can lead full and productive lives.

No you do not.

For one thing, multiple personality disorder is so extrodinarily rair, that psychologists argue amonst themselves about whether or not the diagnosis actually exists or not.

For another, what you describe is not multiple personality - but instead something more along the lines of mild bi-polar, or manic depressive disorder, likley with a anti-social personality disorder thrown in for giggles.

If you had multiple personality disorder, you would experiance periods of blacking out, and not remembering where you had been, or what you had done. but others would describeto you that you had shown up to things and behaved in ways that were unfamiliar to you, and describe things that you did not remember.

Clearly you would benifit from the services of a professional councelor, but not for multiple personality disorder. Please seek the help you need, from a traind, licenced professional - not from teenagers on Yahoo Answers.

This does not sound like multiple personality disorder, but more like depressive episodes. Since you don't mention anything about episodes of mania, such as racing thoughts, impulsivity, or being awake for long periods of time, it does not sound like bi-polar. I do suggest that you be seen by someone who could assess the posible need for therapy or possible some medication for the depression.
