I will point out that liberal and submissive are not opposites. Indeed, I suspect that a lot of submissive women are liberals.

To answer your question, I would rather not use the above criteria to determine my tastes. Instead, I would rather judge based on their character, using traits such as honesty and faithfulness. But that's just me.
