Last night I saw the less cute friend of a cute girl bend over backward to block my friend who is a nice guy and handsome. The girl was obviously liking him but the other girl intentionally ruined the mood so as to impede his progress. It worked, and nobody went home a winner. The pig won. The girl was actually mad at her friend but it was too late. I have seen this happen a lot. My mother always taught me that it was petty and bad to be jealous. I guess some people's mother's don't teach them that.

Sometimes we get sick of watching our friends go home with randoms. They call us crying cuz the random never called after they @#$@. Even though he said he would call and told her how beautiful and special she is. So she @#$@# him and he never called. It gets old.

Misery loves company, and it sounds like the friend is jealous. My sister is all the time dumping on my husband of 13 years telling me how terrible he is and that I should leave him. She has been alone for about 15 years, jumping from this man to that. I would take my life over hers any day of the week. My advice, when you or your friend find a girl that they want to talk to, take her somewhere in the club that you can be alone with her like on the dance floor, or invite her to go get drinks with you. The other alternative is you and your friend take turns blocking the blocker. Get it, beat her at her own game!!!!

Yes, people ARE that petty.

It's not bad to be jealous though. It's natural...especially if you're at the **** end of the stick.

I'd probably be extremely jealous if I was the 'less cute friend', but I wouldn't act on it like that.

Sarrah has issues! lol But anyway, I think the friend is afraid of losing her friend. Then the one that's doing the blocking would be all alone and would have to start over again. Even you said that she wasn't that good-looking. She knew that too, probably, and felt threatened that you were attempting to take her only motivator(of self esteem) away from her. So she did what she had to do to save herself from possible loneliness and future depression. -it's possible.
