You should ask him that question. He's the only one that really knows the answer. If you have a real life boyfriend, you should not have an online boyfriend. If you don't have a real life boyfriend, get one. The online boyfriend is not a true boyfriend.

I doubt that! Have you even discussed it? Could be this guy is actually married or has a girlfriend. Online love affairs don't sound too promising..especially if it's over 4 yrs and you've not even met.
