There seems to be a special exception made for the christian bashers. They aren't called hateful or racist or anything close.
Seems like a GIGANTIC double standard to me.
Try bashing blacks or illegal immegrants the same way and watch the totally different response.
Yes, I'm a christian but I am not what many percieve me to be.

There is somewhat of a double standard there, but I would say that it's because Christians are in the majority. The minority always has to fight in order to be heard and sometimes fair arguments can become hateful criticisms. But do remember, we have freedom of speech, and when you take away freedom of speech from one the potential exist for it to be taken away from all. I may not believe in hateful remarks that you might say (not saying that you would make those remarks) but I will fight with my life for your right to say those things.

Sorry. Christians had the only voice for so long. And they didn't listen. Did tehy listen when the tore down Tenochtitlan, and destroyed the Incan, Mayan, Mexican empires? did they listen when they passed smallpox-tained blankets to nursing native American mothers? These people, these beautiful ways of thinking are gone in large part due to the Christian need to "go forth and Dominate the Earth." And I like with a LOT of hate because I'll never get to experience these different cultures, and there is nothing I can do for the people who still live with the marks of these sins committed against them.

Don't say that these actions were unChristian. The Pope issues bulls, and what the Pope says, goes.

And STILL, they condemn anyone not like them.

Sorry you were born in the wrong century, bro. You can't do anything about the past, and you can't do anything about being born in this one.

Then explain to me why christians answer question directed to non christians with hateful judgmental comments.
There is no double standard. It is called freedom of speech and most religions were tolerant towards christianity but grew tired of their beliefs being trashed by a cult that seems to believe they are above everyone else. People can take a stand against religion bashing. Unfortunately it gets twisted into being called christian bashing,

Nobody can be hated on perception of his believes. I do not know you and the only fact that you are a Christian does not tell me much.
We do know that Christian exploration of the World caused largest genocides in history (Africa, New World). There were also terrible European religious wars between Protestants and Catholics. We do know also that Bush was elected mostly by Christians (election was divided by church-going frequency and education level). And Bush started war. But any nation of confession did something wrong some time in history. This does not allow judge badly about one unknown person.

I only "Bash" people who try and push their Doctrines and misguided illusions on me and our Government. I could care less if you are Christian and go to Church and believe in God or whatever. But when any group wants to have "Intelligent Design"
taught in our Schools as a Science, I start Bashing. If they want to teach it in a Bible School, no problem.

Also, I know many Homosexuals that are better people than many Christians I have met, so I Bash the Homophobic Chrsitians also. I'm not a Homosexual but I can understand they have as much right to be here as anyone else does.

If Christians want me to stop Bashing them, then they need to keep the Biblical Babble in Church, not in my Government or schools or in the street or in my face.

OK. I'm a christian too, but lately I've seen alot more of the so called Christians are being more hateful than the kkk. do you think that its okay for the hypocrites out there to take it upon themselves to tell everyone that God hates them? God hates no one. that's why anti Christians are being so hateful, because there are too many so called Christians out there, making us look stupid and ignorant. oh, and have you seen the way "christians "bash lesbians and gays? how do you rate their response? I've got to the point where i think religion is just a waste, too much hypocritical kaos and not enough God.

So many think we are so stong in our faith we won't be offended or get mad because we can't, otherwise we wouldn't "be Christians" which is wrong and the fact that there are christian haters is bad but what can we do. We can't fight back we must stay strong and just deal with it remember what Jesus went through. It also helps us not become "bashers" of other groups because we know how they feel!

If you want to bash those who oppose you, have at it. I suspect it may make you feel better but is not really consistent with your higher nature.

Some people, both christian and anti-christian, are small minded and hateful. it's good to be able to sort them out without tagging them first.

good luck with it... and forget the blacks and illegal immigrants stuff -- it's hard to be a victim when you're in a wealthy, powerful and socially dominant class.

Just remember, you're better than many of those you oppose, so don't go down to their level.

Duh? We do not hate you. We do criticise though. You started it .

Did you forget you called our god false and satanic, told us we are goig to hell and when it did not work out many of us got sword or gun at our heads for saying so?

In North east India situations are gone from bad to worse and Christian millitants have forbidden to practise Hinduism for last 4-5 years in some areas. In Tirupati temple South India , among most important temple of Hindus, Missioneries pasted POSTERS BASHING Hinduism and its beliefs on Pillers and walls INSIDE THE TEMPLE!

What will you do if we try this stunt inside Vatican or any other church for that matter.

What do you expect?

Be a good Christian now and stop throwing stone at others or cast it only if you are innocent.

I have always said that there is a Christian bias built into this place. Try criticizing a pagan and see what you get.

I don't hate anybody, and do not express hate here. Yet I feel like I have to walk on eggs with even the slightest criticism.
