I am also 25 I used to want to be a teacher, I wasnt sure anymore so i stopped school for a while and became a substitute teacher for a while until i find out if i want to do this or not. Find your substitute position know matter what feild and try it out then if you like it go for it. On a spiritual basis I had no motivation for a while wanted to give up, then boom, i realized i can sit on my butt all day doing nothing or i can smile every day, live every day and love every day. I will geve you a task, smile everytime you see the color blue, its everywhere, the sky, peoples eyes, soda, clothes, cars, flowers, birds, eventually you will smile enough that you wont want to stop and a smile is all the motivation that it takes. You are as prosperous as your state of mind.

Go to the mirror. Stand in front of it and seriously look at yourself. What do you see? Are you trying to please everyone else? Are you using drugs? Have you been abused in some way. If you believe it is stress (or perhaps anxiety), perhaps you really do need to at least ask a doctor to help you get on track. Now, if you are doing drugs, find a person or place that will support you. If you have been abused, find a person or place to support you. These problems are not easily resovled and they take an enormous commitment by you. Know this, if you realize that you cannot get it together, something is holding you back. Is it your choice or are you being manipulated? You are young. There is never a time when you cannot make a change in your life and be what you see yourself to be. Do not beat yourself up. It will take enormous amounts of strenght to make changes, yet the pure satisfaction of knowing you have control of your own life is finding the real spirit of who you are. All of these things are scary. So grow up. Do not be afraid to say no to what you do not believe in. It may make some one or many people unhappy, not your problem. Your true happiness comes when you are free. It may not mean you have the most of what others expect of you, yet you will find your own way when you get yourself out there and take a chance. If you fail, so what. We all fail at some time. That is what experience is. Get some and get off your *** and live your life. Good luck...

Join the military. You don't have to think about anything, and they will motivate you themselves. Seriously. Consider the Coast Guard so you can avoid the Iraq war. By the time you get out in 4 years, you'll have some great experiences and you'll be a totally different person than you are now.

My first recommendation would be to take a day for yourself NO STRESS ALLOWED. Then the next day you can see things a little clearer. Find something you are good at then build a career around that. You be surprised at how many jobs can use the skills you have.
Good luck

What things are you interested in?Try to concentrate on those.Everybody makes up their motivation so that they may have a purpose to survive. It is not a strange thing that you don't have any. Many are like that.Nothing to worry about.Just concentrate on what interests you.Or you can even work for the people who are in your stage right now.Finding out motivations may take some time but it is well worth it.
Good luck.

first things first , get out in the world and see how people act, watch them try to figure out what they are thinking and what makes them go. for instance go sit at a park and watch people, or watch the clouds. think about what makes you happy . and if you cant think of any thing , just get out and be a person, call an old friend and see how and what they are doing. in other words get out...

My son is going through this right now and it's making me crazy.
You do need to see someone who can figure out what's going on with your mental health. Depression will flat out kill motivation.

Oh, you are not alone. There are millions out there. I used to have depression and stuff...my grandfather died and stuff...and it's hard to get over. But there are medicines and rehabs, and you can turn to the Lord...read something...get a pet....go do a sport...anything. =D BE HAPPY!

why not do some volunteer time at a soup kitchen, hospital, or animal shelter. You'll feel better and be helping others that are in need of compassion.
