Because weather we want to admit it or not, we are all born with a need for God. It's in our genetic make-up. We want to know more about the Lord of Heaven and Earth. Scoff if you want, but it's the truth. We were made to be in communion with God. It's sad that many people have a very bad view of the maker of all. But, the scriptures tell us explicitly that this was and will always be the case. It saddens me to read questions here on Y!Answers that so openly defiles God, Jesus, and Christianity. And, they call us mislead and insane. Personally, I'd rather have a hope in things unseen and things yet to come than no hope at all. This is how I'm able to make it through each and every day in this wicked world. Think what you like, but let us who believe do the same without all the ridicule. OK, I guess I'll get off my sope box now.

I would suggest that because over half of the people here are Christian. Everyone else either has issues with Christianity, or doesn't care one way or the other. I'll admit I'm of the group that has issues with Christianity, but I tend to keep my opinions to myself when asking questions. However, when posting answers, I can be very blunt sometimes.

human beings residing in small cities and villages were lower than social stress to attend church homes and customarily, there became no longer a lot else to do. many human beings residing in larger cities have continuously skipped over faith, inspite of the community variations were. As for hating Christianity, that is your emotional reaction to all people who factors out that the claims of Christians (and all different religions) haven't any foundation in testable truth and each and every now and then, the religious are mendacity. stating data isn't "hating", this is something you'll locate out once you're older. What surpassed off? preparation degrees have not in any respect been so intense.

The reason people are asking about christianity and God is because they want to know the Truth and they have an hunger inside their heart for eternal life.

Jesus said, "I am the Way, The Truth, and The Life, NO MAN can come to the Father except through me."

I believe Jesus spoke the truth and did not lie. If He is the ONLY way to the Father WOULDN"T YOU WANT TO KNOW???

Yeah. If the Christians are in EST, it's simple:

They're a legion of the undead out to kill us all! (It's 12:35 AM here)

My Q's not Christian.

It is one of the three primary religions in the world. It is also highly misunderstood, and at least some people are curious about it. Then there are also those whose questions are purely inflammatory. It makes for a lot of questions.

Perhaps it's because we're, um, in the Religion & Spirituality category and all. Just a guess.
