because we're not condemned, but wont he still review are lives? What does Jesus mean when he said he will judge us on every idle word we've spoken? Also what will the punishments for our words be?

the righteous are judged for their works, whether they be made of gold, silver, wood, hay, or stubble.. which means, what was your mind set when you did something for God.. did you do it because you WANTED to or because you HAD to? those works will be tried by fire, if they were done for the right reason, then they will not be burned up, and you will receive a reward for it.
Christians will not be a part of the white throne judgment, that is for unbelievers. as believers we have already been forgiven and that judgment is not for us. the reason Jesus died for us was to keep us from being a part of that judgment. however our works will be judged. don't get me wrong, we do NOT work for our salvation, that is a free gift.. paid in full.

If you would like to read an in depth but relatively short book on this subject then go to the Free Stuff page @ http://web.express56.com/~bromar/ and click on the link at the top that invites you to read The Judgment Seat of Christ on line.

It's based upon these verses from the Bible.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw-- 13 each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.

Very good question. Too many Christians today are ignorant of the fact that when they get saved they are obliged to change. Paul says, "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2). Since we are saved we have been given the ability to say NO to sin, say NO to our old nature, that is our sinful nature. Before we came to Christ we were in bondage to sin, sin controlled us, it had it's way with us and we could do no different. But NOW we have the indwelling Holy Spirit to guide us and teach us. If we refuse to acknowledge Him, we continue living in sin and refuse to repent because we see nothing wrong with what we're doing. After all, we're saved right? That's not the way Jesus intended it to be. We must crucify our flesh, ignore the enemy and not be guided by the world and take up our cross and follow Him! THAT INVOLVES MAJOR CHANGE. In Baptism, we essentially say (among other things) that we accept God's call to be transformed. We take a vow, so to speak. Therefore, come judgment, we are without excuse before the throne of Almighty God. We MUST give an account as to why we didn't change. I sure hope that this clears up some gray areas for you. God Bless You Richly my friend.

If your name is found in the lambs book of life for us judgment day will be like a awards ceremony we will be given a crown with jewels of our works we will be handed a pebble which on this pebble is our true name the meek shall inherit the earth. NEW JERUSALEM IS AS A UFO CITY THAT HOVERS OVER THE EARTH.
the streets are made of gold so pure you can see the earth below this city is reserved for those who gave there live for Christ the one who were killed for his name sake this is the difference between Heaven and paradise your words are very powerful the tongue is a creature no man can tame so that say about sticks and stone may break my bones but words can never hurt me that is a lie be careful what you speak yes you will be judge for this to be a Christian is to truly walk as Christ did not just saying your one i could say that i am the president but that dont mean i am.

Believing in God and being a 'Christian' and attempting to stay an effective existence doesn't make you a loyal and authentic 'christian; Christians are meant to have an intimate relationship with God. no longer purely persist with the commandments. yet no remember how committed you're, you'd be judged. be conscious that Judging isn't a foul ingredient. it is only a range made by technique of christ. yet for sure if you're christian then you definately will be judged right into a better physically powerful existence.

For the "believers" of the Christian Faith their "judgment" will be to clear the books of their lives... and to determin the rewards they will receive in Heaven. NO punishment... Jesus The Christ has already paid the sin debt of those of The Faith.

Christians will not be in front of the Great White Throne of Judgment. We are already judged now.

Christians will be in front of the Judgment Seat of Christ.

i hope this review will be one on one. i would hate it to be broad-casted on the telly, like a reality show. how embarrassing is that? but then again some of you would probably prefer to air you sins on tv, since a lot of you are shameless to begin with.

God bless.
