Japanese are pretty difuse in NYC. However, there is a large Japanese Supermarket just across the Hudson River, a bit south of the GWB. I don't remember the name of it. But I am sure someone does and can add its name.

Japanese-Americans tend to live in the West Coast. However, in Flushing, Queens, you will find people from all different parts of Asia, and yes there is a small Japanese population there.
