I can't tell you about the membership or monthly fees of your local YMCA, but I can tell you this:
It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.
You can get yourself clean
You can have a good meal
You can do whatever you feel.

at the YMCA that I go to:
-$75 one time joining fee
-$35/mo for single adult membership
-$46/mo for single parent membership (one adult and any kids under 18 living in the same household, and kids over 18 if they are fulltime students)
-$57/mo for two-parent membership
tons of great stuff included in this price too. all aerobics/dance classes for adults and kids are free with membership (swimming lessons a bit extra), and free fitness training also included.

I understand it's fun to stay there. Just couldn't resist.
There is a membership fee and then fee's for each activity. It varies depending on where you are.

well, in canada its about 30-60$ a month dependign on what membership. if u go to them and tel them u have a financial problem, which is what we did, i got in for 10$ a month. you bring paychecks, any sort of spendings and they make aprice that's good for you. its a hassle but it was worth it!
