People actually CUT spaghetti with a knife?? Rolling is the ONLY way to go & not using a big spoon as leverage either!!!

I break the spaghetti into small pieces about 1/8" to 1/4" long before cooking. Then we can eat it with a spoon. It's just so much easier and safer this way. Especially for those of us who tend to be klutzy or uncoordinated. An added plus- the spaghetti seems to cook faster, too.

Roll it with a fork. Tastes better that way.

roll it with a fork, using a pasta spoon @ large table spoon will work. if you don't have a pasta spoon the proper way is to roll it up on a pc. of bread.

I break it before cooking it so there is not too much slurping going on. When I was a little kid, my brother and I would swallow most of a strand of spaghetti and see who could pull it back up and swallow it again more times without breaking the strand. I don't do that too often now.
