How come all the nonbelievers come to the religion section to ask questions? If they don't believe and it is a waste of time, why do they get so riled up and freak out on people for their faith. To me it just seems like a waste of time. If you aren't here to ask questions regarding faith, why bother? They seem to know it all on their own anyway. What can a measly little Christian like me help them with ?

A lot of people browse the religion section and 'shoot down' other peoples opinion on their beliefs. The so-called 'non-believers' are just people who refuse to believe. But unconsciously, they know that something or someone Higher is there. All they do is raise questions and try to shoot down other people's beliefs, but for me, they're just trying to have their own questions answered.
The fact of the matter is, religion is a belief. So, whatever the other person believes in, we really can't do anything about it. I guess all we have to do is continue being good people towards others.

Some are just having a little fun, however some Atheists question their faith in science just like some Christians question their faith in the Bible, this scares both groups, so they come here to argue with each other and that makes them feel better. If by non-believer, you mean non-Christians, this section is for all beliefs.

I believe most of the people who come on here and call themselves atheists or get mad at Christians or ask questions that seem antagonistic are subconsciously searching for God. And as a Christian if one of my answers plants a seed God can water and grow then praise God for that. He has used this site for his work no matter how it might seem.

They come here because deep down they know they need The Saviour. They may not admit it or they may deny it but they do. Just do your best to answer their questions according to God's Word. You may give them the answer that will lead them to accept Jesus as their Saviour. You will be rewarded in Heaven for your efforts here on Yahoo! Answers.

They also do it to cause you and other believers to doubt. I pray that you will stay strong in what you believe so that they do not make you doubt.

Why do religious nuts ask religious questions in non religious areas? No I'm not here because deep down I'm interested, frankly you can take your god and your religion and stick it where the sun don't shine. Maybe if you don't want non religious people in your category then maybe you will stop your religious babble else where.

They come here for answers, and even if they disagree with us they should still stay here. I like that people arent satisfied with how they live and they ask questions. The only stupid question is the one not asked

They want to poke fun at religious people in order to demostrate to us that they are smarter than us (makes them feel better).

And some ask questions as an indirect way of making a point or converting you to their point of view.

There are those who are influenced by evil... it is that influence that motivates much... most... of the otherwise meaningless garbage that gets posted all over the net. with particular hatered directed at any mention of The Good News
