16 or 17 absolutely no younger. And oddly enough I'm a teen. I've seen what happens to the teens that start dating young. . .it's not a pretty scene. We've got our whole lives to get in bf/gf relationships for godsake have fun with your friends. Besides you need to know who you are and what you stand for, otherwise you'll be easily swayed to do things your going to regret.

Depends on your maturity level. I would say however, 15 or 16 would be a starting point. Prior to that, not a good idea.

If you are a responsible teen then the best time to take on the HEAVY load of dating should be 16... this gives you the time to grow and know who YOU ARE then bringing on that added "other" persons needs will be tiring and sometimes heart breaking. Why do it too early and disturb your learning patterns too early?

I don't think there should be any dating before 16. Then after 16 and before college there should be some boundaries.
