Under "details," could you tell me if you're a Carlos Casteneda fan. I love his books and guess you've read most of them.

I'm a believer in Christ Jesus - and while your question and own answer lacks a lot to be desired - I feel thy pain.

No one will read a mile and a half text which does nothing more than take up room. Usually a scripture or three will suffice but for whatever reason these cut-&-paste people never consider few if any will bother.

I'm not splitting hairs but I noticed a good many Muslims are more apt to post miles of text and links. People on the Internet don't typically have time to peruse all that stuff and it ends up wasted effort.

I agree with you partially - at least on the lengthy cut-&-paste.

No. And you think that they are dumb because you don't think they have anything to do with the question?

I admit, some are not very good at staying in context, but is making the quote short that you might understand it a better thing to do? I think so. But don't blame someone who looks at the Bible for answers when you are asking Biblical questions. That's not very smart either, is it?

You don't know the Bible and your asking someone who knows it better than you to not use it.

I ASK YOU! How smart is that?

I thought that everyone was allowed to express their opinion freely on this site. The bible is where I find all spiritual guidance and encouragement. It IS the word of God. So yes, I am going to try and back up my answers with the bible, because that is where I get my answers.

You are on a religion and spirituality forum. And since when did you become the spokesman for the majority? I quote" No one appreciates it" - I think you are yet too immature to "respect" it. Plagarism? Do you know what the word even means?
Grow up.

Gee Don... Are you new?
Stop the cut and paste? Original thought?

Obviously a good night for you behind the computer with the hubity-bubbly burning.
What your asking just ain't going to happen.

I know what you mean. Does anybody actually take the time to read all those quotes anyway? And why do they seem to assume that non-believers haven't read the bible? It's BECAUSE of reading the bible that we don't believe, numbskulls!

I'm not a plagarist, and those quotes aren't stupid. We use those quotes to answer your questions.

No, sorry, can't stop doing that:

"Have you been thinking all along that we have been defending ourselves to you? We have been speaking in the sight of God as those in Christ; and everything we do, dear friends, is for your strengthening." (2 Cor 12:19 NIV)

God Bless!
