I will be graduating with my bachelor's degree in December, but I have no idea what I should do. What kind of places should I send resumes to? How can I make the best money? (My degree is in Business Administration and I am currently working in the restaurant industry)

Isn't there a councilor at school who can help you with this. You already have experience in the restaurant industry maybe you should help people set up restaurant businesses. Like what they need to start and how to hire employees.

It seems odd to say the least that you would have earned a degree in Business Administration but have absolutely NO IDEA where to go from here. How on earth did you EVER make it through college with so little imagination, I wonder.

Do NOT wait until you graduate before you start your career development planning. I would suggest taking several career assessments (your post secondary institution should have a career center) in addition to free career tests/assessments you can complete on line. It is important to recognize your natural talents and abilities and expand on those. If you are serious about the proactive efforts you will have to put towards this process, I would be more than happy to assist you with some consulting over emails. I currently accepted a position with the University of Notre Dame and I am working on my business plan for my own consulting firm. You can email me at latonia_ferguson@yahoo.com if you would like my assistance. But only if you are serious and wanting to put in the time and effort it will take to develop, pursue and land the career and position that you were born to do.

I would take some time off and travel. But if you want to find a job, check newspapers or (business) company websites. Find the ones that you're qualified for, and apply. I think jobs that require a degree generally don't pay too bad. Good luck!

If you like working in the restaurant industry, apply for a management job. Work your way to the top. Before you know it, you'll own a chain of restaurants and you'll be a multi-millionaire....imagine the possibilities.

I would take a month and a half off and not work or do anything, just to treat yourself for doing so good and finishing a goal of yours. Then hit the real world and put your degree to work

Early Congrads on finishing school!

Figure out where you want to live, get out the phone book, make a list of 50 places you'd like to work in that city, send out your resumes and cross your fingers!

Look at large motel/hotel chains. Talk to your school counselor they have reports on the highest paying jobs... for the degree that you will have. Enjoy :-) I'd go for the cruise lines myself!
