when thecatholic church took over the roman empire it nearly destroyed all of mankind. pagan rome had medicine that was not equaled until the 1950's america. they had running water from aquiducts that brought so much water into rome, it was not equaled until 1970's new york city. all the technology of the pagans was lost by the church. dooberry can't really be so stupid as to think romans could not write. they wrote down everything. all roman history was written, not oral and corruptible like most other people

I believe because the Romans did not use concrete for their roads. Also, they not only lost the concrete recipe, they lost the Empire, too! Also, they took the wrong side during World War II.

concrete was invented by a french scientist in 1800s so romand never used it but they used cooked clay

there were the dark ages that lasted like 1000 years. most all knowledge and learning was discouraged, suppressed. it was a vicious circle of little knowledge leading to less.

I don't think no one ever bothered to write it down. did they ever figure out what it was? I know they guessed but I never recall them actually finding out what all the ingredients were.
