Would you rather go out with someone dumber or smarter than you?

Excellent question . . and a tough one! If you're impatient "dumber" will get tiresome. If you're fragile "smarter" may feel condescending. Hmmm!

Dumber has the advantage of a constant feeling of being smarter, but ultimately, I'd rather go out with someone smarter because only then would I actually be able to learn something from them and become smarter myself. Dumber folks are good for a temporary distraction, but it tends to get old and tiresome pretty quickly when it's impossible to have an intelligent conversation.

First off, dumber would make you smarter but they may be TOO dumb. Secondly, smarter would make you feel stupid but I would go with this; however, smarter people would have their ways of screwing around with you. If there was a choice that was given to us that implies equality, then I would choose that, this way you guys would be equally challenged, both knowing the same amount of knowledge and you guys could learn more together.

Most people feel themselves as smart. Still when going out, They wish to have a smarter one accompanying them.

Its a collection of thoughts which makes us think that way.

1. We would always like to have a Smart brain going along with us because we wanna enjoy , so need someone who really understand that.

2. Though we feel we are smart enough, still we have some doubt in some corner of our mind that there may some situations that we cant handle, so need a smarter one who can be of more help at the time of Need (Friend in need is a friend indeed).

3. An Over dominant would always like a Dumbo, so that, it can be dominated upon and made to execute all the necessary requirements when on an outing.

4. A mind who loves to dominate would always like a dumbo, so that he/she can dominate rather than living with the fear on being dominated when actual smartness in called for.

Depends on how horny I am. If action below the waist is my primary objective then dumber is the thing but if I want to exercise my brain then someone my equal or slightly smarter than I will be my choice.

I'd rather go out with someone smarter than me because then I'd try to learn more and be more educated and that would influence my life in a positive way. I'd me more influenced by what they say most likely, but that can be a good and a bad thing. We could have rational discussions and talk about issues we both find interesting. Ideally, I'd just want to go out with someone who holds the same views politically and religiously, a person who is open to new ideas, ways of doing things, someone who strives to be successful in their life, however they define success that is, and someone who I can relate to.

i've had lots of trouble finding women smarter than me, and if they are smarter than me they probably wouldn't go out with me, so i really just have to settle for dumber, though i would prefer my equal

A combination of both... Its ok that hub knows more about electronics, and computer, etc. than I do.... And he appreciates the fact that I can teach him how to play the guitar, and cook tasty meals for him, etc. We are smarter in areas opposite of each other. It balances out. I don't want a guy that "knows it all." Yet again, it facinates me to learn new things from him..

So my answer would be...both!lolz.

I would rather go out with someone smarter than me cause dumb people are idiotic and they usually tend to act amazingly childish and they don't have any manners!!!
