In my heaven, there would be no such thing as hell.

If I go to this "heaven" and there also happens to exist a hell, I couldn't cope being there knowing that those so deemed unworthy suffer a horrible fate in hell.

Mind control from our God perhaps? Then why go to heaven if I can't be me? Perhaps the concept of hell is wrong?

If you go there, you will not be concerned with what is going on elsewhere. There will be no sadness, so you will not know of Hell while you are there. We will be there to worship God. Our focus will be on Him alone. :)

The question is, are YOU going to be there? Have you confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead? If so, you will go to heaven.

A friend of mine as explaining his view of the afterlife to me the other day, and I think it may help you understand the answer to your question and still let you draw your own conclusion:

Heaven Is your perfect day, every day, for all eternity. You wake up in the morning and everything goes just how you always wanted it to right from the start. I goes all day, everything just the way you always wanted, hoped, dreamed, and prayed for comes true. Then you go to bed. You wake up the next morning and relive the same day with no knowledge that you ever experienced it before. Paradise is, by definition, a way that nothing could be better. This coincides perfectly with that definiton.

Hell is the exact same perfect day. Your dreams come true just as in heaven. The only difference is hat when you go to bed and wake up, you have full knowledge that you have done everything you are doing before, but you are powerless to do anything different. Hell is often defined by being progressive torture, and it is often said that your greatest pleasure becomes your worst fear. Yet again, this coincides with the common defnition of Hell.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you will be havng so much enjoyment in heaven that you won't even think about Hell, let alone fret over those there. Those in Hell are the ones hat will have full knowledge of the heavens and know that they never made it.

There is no hell. Just the grave. The ones that translated th Bible got mixed up or changed the meaning of the word grave to mean hell. Everyone goes to their grave. Even Jesus went to his grave for 3 days. But they said he descended into hell for 3 days. Now come on if everyone believes Jesus is God why would he go to hell. No, he would not.So it's not mind control of God but mind control of people. Also saying that Jesus is God is another misconception. How could a man be God. No way. And anyway there is only one God and one of the commandment covers that. That we should not have any god before him. There is no place in the Bible to confirm that Jesus is God. If you read the Bible it says that Jesus is the son of God.Any way God is not going to torment anyone day and night forever and ever. That's another of man's wrong concepts. In Revelation it says that God will consume the evil ones. They will be no more. The King James Bible was translate to read the way he wanted. Some day he will have to account for that as we will for our actions. The devil is behind all the trickery. He knows the Bible better than any of us.How can this statement u said be right?when you are there, you know there is a hell? Then u contradict yourself by saying:In my heaven, there would be no such thing as hell.So u figured out that the concept of hell is wrong.

Let's put this simple:
Heaven is where God resides
Hell is NOT where God will be.
Heaven is the eternal resting place for those who believe and know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They desire to be with God.
Hell are for those who chose to live their life without God. They have this life to make their eternal destination.
This will sound rude -
I am not sorry for those who have made that choice. It is their free will. I can do what I can for those still on earth. Ultimately, it their choice as well.
The Bible puts heaven this way:
no weeping, no tear will come, for they will know that they will be in God's presense. No more sorrow, no more worry.

Well, God has a major problem in forgiving anyone of their sin and still being righteous. If a judge just pardoned a killer, he'd be dis-barred. So, to show Himself righteous in forgiving sin, He slew His own Son, Christ, instead.

So, having done that, God can pardon the ungodly and welcome them into a heaven they don't deserve. That gift is received through faith. Those who do not receive the gift guarantee their own eternity in Hell.

Part of the joy of Heaven for me will be to know that I deserve Hell, but am clothed in Christ's righteousness, and for that reason were allowed into Heaven. The reality of Hell makes heaven that much more joyous to me.

THERE WILL SOON BE NO HELL!
HELL COMES FROM THE HEBREW WORD ((SHOEL )) IN THE OT AND THE GREEK WORD ((HADES )) IN THE NT BOTH SIMPLY MEAN THE (( GRAVE ))
AND THERE IS AN END TO HELL. AND THE LAKE OF FIRE IS NOT HELL BUT WHAT IS CALLED THE SECOND DEATH IN WHICH YOU THOSE WHO DON'T ACCEPT GOD WILL BE BURNED TO ASHES INTO NONEXISTENCE.
Re 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Re 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Re 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED TO CHRIST. HE WAS NOT LEFT IN HELL BECAUSE HE WAS RESURRECTED AND HE DID NOT SEE CORRUPTION OR WHAT WE CALL DECAY BECAUSE HE WAS IN HELL OR (( THE GRAVE )) FOR ONLY 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS.
Ac 2:27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Ac 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his FLESH did see corruption.
Re 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

The joy in heaven will be so great you won't have time to worry about the horrific torment that wicked men like bin Laden are going through in the lake of fire.

Perhaps you should read and study the Bible - trying to explain Godly things in a human way can never be.

go to "Studied in the Bible" it is not complete but there is enough there to answer a lot of questions.

Yes, it is mind control. That's what Religion is, my friend. Christians insist that we go to hell by our own desire and by not accepting God, but I refuse to accept a being that commands his believers to kill others. It's right there, in black and white, in their guidebook (bible), but they deny that's what God wanted.

God requires 100% devotion and you receive death if you don't do that. We have dictators here on earth who do that very thing, yet they are reviled. Why? Because they're people, of course... but I see no difference.

Oh well.

it is said there is no sorrow or fear in heaven...to me I would not be able to without sorrow if i knew someone that went to hell or that hell was there and people were in torment......so I dont believe that we will remeber about hell or those that didnt make it to heaven.....they will just be forgotten from our memory.....that would be the only way I think one would be able to handle it...
