The Bible was written in no less than three main languages. Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek.
There is NO word in the original texts for "homosexual" as we have come to know it today. The word itself was only first coined in 1800 by a German psychologist.

The Old testamnet is written in Hebrew and Aramaic. The Hebrew word YHWH (no vowels are ever given to this word so the pronunciation is not clear) form the base for the name Jehovah and is found quite often in the Bible. If the JW's translated from the original Hebrew they would know that. Since they claim otherwise, one must question their validity. The only way they could possibly say what they do, is if they assume that all Bibles are translated from the Vulgate, a Latin Translation produced by Jerome in the 5th cent. Here the will not find the word Jehovah since Jerome used another Greek word in its place.

There is no word for homosexual in Hebrew. And since the original Bible was written in Hebrew, there is no way the bible could have talked bad against gays in that manner.
It's all a matter of interpretation, some people just can't stand the fact that the bible doesn't speak out against it, so they go and interprete it so it does.

why does everyone think the bible was written in aramaic?
With the exception of Daniel, every other book in the bible (read: "OT") was written in hebrew.

Read: Romans 1:26-27,1 Corinthians 6:9, 1 Timothy 1:10, Leviticus 18:22 all relate to homosexuality.
You do not have to go to hell for that! I am a sinner, too. Christ died for all sinners, he paid the price so that we can all go to heaven. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Don't kid yourself, just because our sins are different the path to eternal life is always through Christ. Jesus told the sinner next to him on the cross (that recognized who He was) this day I shall see you in heaven. (Luke 23:43)

There is no Hebrew word for "homosexual" in the Bible. But there is this command that makes it clear what God has to say about the practice of homosexuality in the Old Testament.
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
1 Kings 14:24 And there were also sodomites (qadēš) in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
qādēš - Is a word that refers to male temple prostitutes so one might argue that the context of this passage has to do with engaging in pagan worship. However, that doesn't negate the fact that sin is what God calls sin and it means to fail to live in accordance with his will for your life.
God didn't create men to have sex with men or women to have sex with women. That's a result of sin entering this world and the debasing of humanity on all levels as a result.
Genesis 1:27-28 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him...Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:24
