a couple i know is young and engaged...hes 16 and shes 15.... are they wrong to make this decision

No they are not wrong but they are to to YOUNG, And It's just their Hormones Ranging, But they are going to be so UNHAPPY Once they wake up and realize life for what it really is, She will be unhappy first. But you know how teenagers are you can not tell them anything, You gotta let them live life and make their mistakes. You just be there for support if need be.

a lot of kids think they are in love it is part of growing up! I had three promise rings in high school, each time I thought I am in love this is the one! just let them make up their own minds. I got officially engaged at 17 and married at 18 and I am still happily married 15 yrs later so you just never know what will happen.

As long as they wait....oh...say......6-7 years, then maybe, but at this age they have NO clue. The marriage would be doomed from the start.

I think so. You should definitely wait until they figure out who they are as individuals before they commit to each other.

I think that if they are in love and can picture them without the other one than yes I think that its perfectly fine.
