how old are you? I am the oldest of 8, so I know the feeling (well) I am now sixteen, but when I was younger, say 8,9 and 10, I didn't know what to do. My brother would hit me and scratch me and one time, he yanked a fistful of hair out. I didn''t fight back because I knew if I did, he would tell. But didn't want to get in trouble for tattle-telling, so I would just cry to myself. Then, I asked a counseler what I should do, she said to either write a letter to my mom, or, like in the car or somthing, start a conversation, then slowly lead to your brother, mention that you're not sure what to do when "John" hits you. say "Idon't want to fight back, but somtimes, he gets out of control. would you be angry with me if I told you every time he hurts me?" most likly she'll say no. try not to ge in your brothers way, if he is stealing a cookie, don't pester him about it, just say "you kknow not to do that" but be simple and kind...here are some really great hints...
