With the key in "On" but the engine not running, it read that everything was just fine. With the engine running, it did say that it couldn't control the idle at low RPM.

is it P0411? im not too positive, but it might have something to do with your egr sensor. check by looking at your exhaust manifold, you will see 2 small tubes, about 5/8 thick, rise out of the manifold. attached should be small black hoses, followed by a sensor, about the size of a small belt buckle. remove this sensor. with the hoses removed, tap it on your hand and see if water comes out. if it does, replace it. the water shorted out the sensor. or it also could be that the air injection pump went out. the pump affects your emission systems.

In Key On engine running, it's saying that it can't control idle (generally idle was too high for the vehicle) .. Possible air leak?

I've seen a few of these in my time and unless you got driveability concerns.. I usually don't worry about it

Clean the throttle body with some carb cleaner spray and an old toothbrush. Un hook the battery and drive about 5 miles and see if its still there. Please indicate if you are having any problems or if this code was just there.

To remedy this "Diagnostic Trouble Code" (DTC), your best bet is to junk the car. First of all, it's a Ford. Second of all it's a 14 year old Ford. Same yourself heartache, grief and money...JUNK IT!
