why when someone askes a question on here like "what do you think of the war" all the answers are "i hate it" and "its so stupid" every single person says it. then if someone asks a question like "what would you do if korea invades america" everybody says, "go to war" or "load up the guns and head out." .......arent we in a war situation, why would anybody disagree with this war that we are in and agree with a war that we even thought about doing yet. to sum it all up 'iraq invades us and kill thousands, nobody agrees with the war. korea doesnt attack us and everybody wants to got to war with them!'

only logical answers wanted!?!?!?

I have no idea! Personally, I'm one of those people who says the war in Iraq is stupid, but I don't believe we should go to war with Korea either! Wars are just plain stupid! With the Iraqi war, I see Bush as having one or many of the following as his reasons for it: religious (God commanded, etc.), oil, policing the world(we must save them from the tyranny of Saddam). On wars in general, I think they get started (and keep going) because the countries involved are too freaking stubborn to just resolve the issue peacefully. That's one of the only reasons. There's a few exceptions to that though, and one of those is World War II. There was no other way to shut Hitler down than all-out war. So, basically, war in Iraq= pointless, war in Korea= pointless, war in general= pointless.

I can only assume that when you said that Iraq invaded us you were referring to the 9/11 attacks. There has been no proven and substantiated link between 9/11 and Saddam Hussein. No, to answer the real question. The reason surveys on sites like this seem so polarized is because only people who have a polarized opinion usually will answer them. Think about it. When you are looking for questions to answer, you most likely search for things you are passionate about. If there is one thing people are passionate about it is politics. So, when someone who is passionate on a subject sees a question like "what do you think of the war" they will most certainly respond with a a polarized viewpoint because he is passionate about it. People who just don't care will more than likely pass over the question instead of wasting time on responding with an answer like "I am just tired of talking about it". I hope that this helps answer your question in some way.

well most people dissagree with iraq because we were BSed by our government about our intentions...... there was no threat from iraq and we went in just to topple saddam because bush sr couldn't.... dad avenged. N Korea on the other hand is now a proveable threat rockets developed that can reach as far as NYC?!? and a hostile government with control of those rockets??? I am going to ask a question in return.... why is our country considering backing a country who is operatiing on the offensive, attacking lebanon who only captured soldiers that were behind thier lines in the first place? lebanon captured what could be considered spies and isreal has the right to go on the offensive and lebanon is wrong for retaliating??? hypocricy at it's finest folks!!!

I think that people are quicker to want to hurt people when they have a face that they know is involved. When we all thought that Iraq was the one who bombed us, we wanted to go to war. Now that there is no real problem there, we think it is stupid. With Korea and whoever else, if there is a direct threat with a real face behind it, we want to hurt them. We're all ignorant hillbillies really. Too many republicans. They all say we can't kill because it is a sin, but they are the first to send the troops and kill innocent children. All hipocrites.

There is a difference between a war for our existence and a war for just our interest. Our existence implies that it's a fight or die situation. Our interest just means that we want something and we're gonna get it. Iraq is a war of interest. If Korea invades us, it's a war of existence. People will fight willingly when their existence is in danger.

Basic human nature. Most people really don't give a rats a** about the other guys situation and are totaly critical, until it affects them directly or personally. Then watch the sparks fly.
Oh ya you say....but that's being a hypocrite........no sh*t huh?
