Nothing in life is for free unfortunately. Inorder for you dog to be microchipped, it's a service that isn't cheap. However, if you feel that it is important thing to have especially if you think that your dog runs loose a lot ...or just simply to be on the safe side, then, just suck it in...and pay the cost to have it done. I understand the fee is quite hefty, but for your dog, it might be worth it in the end.

They do not do it for free, however some places like in Conn. 4-H organizations are doing fund raisers where you can do it for like 10 or 20 dollars. Sorry I dont know where the Whittier area is.

Umm....well you cant get one for free, but you can buy a dog that is already microchipped. If you want to get your dog microchipped then just go to your local vet

No. That is not a necessary service and isn't done for free. It doesn't cost that much at a vet for God's sake!!!!!! It is $40 here. That is not very much.

you cant get a microchip for free.......the cheapest ones i can find are 6.00 each and i have to put them in the dog......my vet charges 10.00, thats very cheap
