United States having to send troops there, too and if so, what is your opinion? I'm afraid this is something terrorists are hoping we do so they can come into the States again and attack.

In my opinion, the terrorists will continue to attack the States no matter if we send troops or not. I think that Israel is doing the right thing and we should support them hand over fist. I believe that the United States has a more practical role in getting involved in order to help Israel than it does in rebuilding Iraq.

Austria was backed by Germany, and Serbia was backed by Russia, France, and the British Empire. The conflict between Austria and Serbia esclalated into WWI. Of course, I am not saying the conflict between Israel and Lebanon will result in WWIII but history tends to repeats itself.

I don't think the U.S. will be sending troops to get involved there. That could lead to something much.....much bigger, because other countries are starting to speak out against Isreal for their heavy handed tactics. Its enough that the U.S. is supplying Isreal with weapons.
