Lanna Style is a traditional style in the north of Thailand.
Many hotels there decorated by Lanna Style. It's beautiful and peaceful.
in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai have many hotel style like luxurious, cheap, comfortable and expensive. It depends on your budget.

If you like to stay in luxurious hotel in Chiang Mai, I recommend you to stay at Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi Hotel, Lanna Style. I think it's the most expensive and luxurious hotel in Chiang Mai. And in Chiang Rai the luxurious one is Anantara Golden Triangle Resort and Spa Hotel.

Or if you like to stay in budget hotel, I can suggest you also. In Chiang Mai I recommend you stay at Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel - it's Lanna Style and convenient to visit major attractions in the city. And in Chiang Rai, I recommend Rimkok Resort Hotel. It's beutiful and luxurious hoel but the costs're quite cheap.

Lanna Style is traditional Thai style and quite nice - - the furnishings will be more quaint/antique-like than a Sheraton Hotel.. You don't really say what price range you are in but prices range from a couple of dollar a night guest houses to fine luxury hotels and resorts and spas.

You can get very decent accomodations for a reasonable price. My last trip to CM a couple of months ago, I stayed in a decent Lanna Style hotel for about $18.. it is clean and had a pool, but I would not classify it as luxury. There are some very nice, fancier guest house style, small boutique hotels for $40 price range.. and the usual Sheratons for probably $80-$100.. or so... but you will find almost all accomodations in Thai. to be clean - though there are exceptions but mostly on the lower end - below $10..

Enjoy your travels - - more info - feel free to ocntact me..
