trimming your hair does keep the ends healthier, but it has no effect on the rate your hair grows. keeping your roots healthy is the best way to speed up growth. the hair grows from the roots, not the ends.

I take prenatal vitamins, and eat lots of protein and gelatin. My hair grows incredibly fast, in fact my hair is waist length and just 2 years ago was shoulder length! Good Luck!

Trimming your hair actually encourages growth because it gets rid of the dead ends. Also, make sure that you use a moisturizing conditioner with lots of vitamins. Taking fish oil caplets (you can get them at any pharmacy) also keeps your hair healthy.

I know that you only wanted 4 answers but i thought i couldnt help myself from telling you what i use. i had the same problem and then some lady told me to put some smashed birth control pills into the shampoo i use. It really works!!

use a lot of pony tails and it will grow. also use moisturizers so that it stays healthy and you do not have to cut it every now and then. they say that birth pills added to your shampoo also helps.

when u trim it, trim really little so that it triggers the growth cells.. my hair grows really slow.
