Check this out. http://www.cda.org/cda_member/pubs/journal/jour698/nidr.html
Part way down the page is a list of the "Top 16 Dental Schools" according to the National Institute of Dental Research. How did they determine this? The chart explains that the 16 schools listed received more grant money from NIDR than the others. The grant money was given "through a competitive peer-reviewed process." In other words, the schools had to convince NIDR that their programs were "more worthy" of funding and were successful, so NIDR said they must be the best.
I see University of California at San Francisco, University of Southern California, University of California at Los Angeles, University of Washington and University of Pennsylvania. Okay, I know Penn is not near California, but it's my school and I had to brag. :-)

Creighton in Omaha is my school. All dental schools maintain a standard so there are no bad schools. Faculty and emphasis are important. i.e. Some schools emphasize hand skills while others are academic schools. A DDS

you would possibly want to bypass decrease back to undergrad for physics, organic and organic, and calculus. searching on the school there's some different instructions that you want so that you will be wanting to envision with admissions. sturdy success and get transferring on being a dentist.....it is way more desirable than being a hygienist.

I have to say Indiana University, but I am a bit partial.
But then again, Crest was 'invented' and tested there, so they have to be pretty good!
