This is an age old battle that will be decided by GOD himself, and yes the ending is already written down in the bible.
See Rev, the whole book.
Basically if you start in Genesis, you will find that the first two sons of Abraham were Ishmael and Isaac. God promised Isaac would be born and would be the promised one. Abraham and sarah lost patience in GODs promise and decided to help him out by having Abraham take Hagar as his wife, Ishmael was born. Hagar was the bond servent of Sari (sarah) and once she knew she was pregnant, she became proud of the fact that she was going to have a child and that sarah was barren. Sarah was very upset with this attitude, and started to mistreat Hagar.
Hagar fled (ran away) from abraham and sarah. She ran out of the frying pan into the fire. She found herself out in the desert, without food or water, and cried out to GOD for help.
God told hagar that she needed to go back and submit herself to Sarah, and that she would indeed bear a son, and to name him Ishmael. God went on to tell Hager that although he would make a great nation out of Ishmael and his seed, he would not however be the chosen one whom God had promised to Abraham.
Ishmael and his descendents would be wild men, with no country of their own, but would live among men.
Now fast forward to current times. Ishmaels descentents (muslims) believe that the bible was changed and that Ishmael was actually the chosen one. This thought is very important to what is going on right now.
Both the Islam (Muslim) and the Israelites are fighting over the promised land given to Abraham and passed to Isaac, then Jacob and then Judah, etc.
That is why the animosity, they both believe they were promised that same land, and they will fight to the end for it.

Israel - rather the Jews and/or, Hitler, and the rest of the world. Israel is a recent invention. Jews are Arabs, just are Muslims. Several thousand years ago they were separated from the other Arabs, enslaved in Egypt, made to wonder the desert for 40 years. Then they were re-united. The Jewish people with their exclusive religion - being the "Chosen People". But the idea of one God caught on. Jeudaism diverged into Christianity, and then later Islam.
The Jewish (Arab people), would then believe the land or Israel theirs wouldn't they. But the Arab people, now with Islamic beliefs, stayed in the area, and never left. There was World War II, some time later, as country boarders were formalised, and in recognition of the hardship of the Jewish people in the war - Israel was given to them and the nation of Israel was formed.
It wasn't right for the world to give away, land owned by the Palistinians to the Jews.

Israel is a Jewish state and Islam is a religion. While it is true that the Palestinians are at war with Israel, not all Palestinians are Muslims.
I refer you to the Zionist movement and the British and later UN involvement regarding the creation of the state of Israel in a prominent Muslim lands.
Stones may be a better term on both sides.

It started over 4 thousand years ago. When Sarah gave birth to Isaac (which means "ha-ha") she told Abraham to throw Ishmael and his mother out of the camp (Genesis 21:10). And he did. Ishmael's children became the Arab people.
Isaac had a son named Jacob. Jacob's name was changed to Israel. Israel had 12 sons. One of those sons was named Judah (the Jews). They call themselves Israel but they are only one tribe out of 12. The cousins (Judah and Ishmael) have never liked each other much.
So you could say Sarah cast the first stone.

Israel has done everything except pack up their bags and move out.
The so called Palestine Leader Arafat was NOT even a Palestinian.
He was a Muslim terrorist that took a false identity and set up to destroy Israel and kill innocent men women and children of BOTH Israelis and his own so called people of Palestine. To answer your question Islam has never stopped throwing stones from the first one they threw.

It goes back to Old Testament Biblical times!
Israel has no choice but to defend itself.
If attacked by anything like an Atomic Weapon Israel has made the
statement that they will use their SAMPSON DEFENSE!
That means they take down the TOTAL COUNTRY that attacks them by using their ATOMIC WEAPONRY!
(Kiss the Word good bye as we know it today!)

The Jews have never attacked anyone except to prevent an attack on themselves or to respond to an attack. Go back through the history of the last 58 years.
