Recently Microsoft and Real Audio offered updates to these programs however they don't install and I can't download media files without the upgrade. I plan to uninstall the programs and then reinstall but I don't want to loose audio files when I uninstall. Thanks for the help.

just uninstall it.
your music will not be deleted.

I think you'll find it nearly impossible to remove windows Media player but I agree you should get rid of the bloatware/spyware called realplayer. Go to Start/Control Panel Add Remove software and uninstall Realplayer. You may find you cannot install Media player without some major registry alterations. Best to just ignore it if you don't like it and use a media player such as Winamp. (link supplied below. Good luck!

Create new folders and move the music to them first, before uninstalling the players. That's assuming they are now currently in the payers default folders.

theres a application observed as revo uninstaller, it uninstalls this equipment, deletes information kept in the time of ur pc on the placement of that app., and ultimately deletes keys from the registry, in case you dont understand wat the registry is... all i ought to wish to inform u is to google it. to effectively use revo u ought to wish to have this equipment put in though, so i dunno, probably u can reinstall it n then have revo uninstall everythin. bout ur music information, i cant help u there utilising reality i dont understand what occurred, i dont understand wat blubster even is so i dont understand what it did in ur pc.

No you wont loose any files which are on your computer.
