My dad runs a restuarant back home....which has a great burger.. ...and its his best seller by far!
if you want to know it...and i dont know it off the top of my head..but its kind of like koufta (an egyption dish) but kind of lighter..with the seasons and such..
I found this off the internet you might want to search for a better one...I cant call my dad at the moment to ask..but hope this works..
2 tablespoons ground allspice
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/2 onion, very finely chopped
1-2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro or parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
Olive oil
..add bread crumbs..so the meat will stick better! ;-) and make the burgers about/ atleast 8 oz so that they are big and juicy!

There is actually a $100 burger that has black truffles stuffed in the middle. That seems a little extreme.
I saw Bobby Flay (the grilling guru of Food Network) preparing a spicy burger with hot peppers grilled and then sliced so that the ribs and seeds are removed. These are added to the tops of the burgers with queso cheese. Looked unbelievably good.
For me, a burger with grilled mushrooms, swiss, dijon, tomatoes, and onions is pretty great. Hopefully there is some really good cole slaw on the side!

The best is to take some grilled onions and cook them with the hamburger patties. Then clean your pan and grill some buttered wheat bread with some American or Swiss cheese return your onions and meat to the bread and brown both sides of the bread like a grilled cheese. Serve with some chips, pickles, ketchup, and a big glass of beverage.

Stuffed Mozzarella and Chili Paste Hamburgers
2 pounds ground chuck
Sea salt, preferably gray sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Fresh Mozzarella
Chili Paste, chili flakes or anything hot
1 loaf good crusty bread, cut into 4 sections
Preheat the grill. In a bowl, mix the meat. Form 4 (3-ounce) patties by using a scoop. Push them down and make little indentations in the middle to hold the flavors. Place a chunk of mozzarella and drizzle some chili paste or chili flakes on top of the mozzarella. Add a good twist of black pepper. Take another 3-ounce scoop of meat, make it flat in your hand and place right on top of the other half.
Take your fingers and just seal the 2 patties up and refrigerate until you are ready to grill.
Meanwhile: Split the pieces of bread, and pull out some of the soft center to make a hole for the burger. Place the bread face down on the grill to toast.
Place the burger in the bread, and top with your favorite condiments.

I dont really know what you would call it, I try to let the charcoal grill do most of the seasoning. I just add some salt and pepper, a little worchestershire (sp?) and some ground pork. over a super hot flame I cook one side thoroughly, and then flip it **seeing great grillmarks in head** and cook the other. serve on toasted buns (toasted by the fire of course) and enjoy. also I like to make mine very big around but thin. I like the meat to blend with the rest of the toppings not be 3 inches thick. thats about it.

I have my own steak sauce recipe that I use when grilling.
In a sauce pan put one whole bottle of Worcestershire Sauce, 1/2 cup apple sauce, a bunch of minced garlic, and a huge squeeze of Ketchup. Add hot sauce to taste and either beef stock or (even better) the separated drippings from a roast beef. Cook on the stove until reduced to a thick sauce.
Make a huge batch then freeze the left overs. Use it on ribs, burgers, steaks, and serve it in a bowl when ever you serve beef.
So good it's to DIE!!!
