I believe what i've always been tought and its worked out fine for me. I trust my parents and I know they want the best for me so why would they want me to be unhappy or believe the wrong religion. my parents love me and i love them I dont know if I would ever want to beleive anything else. it would distance me from my family and my faith is a stable thing and I woulnd want to make it rocky! For you first see whats in your own heart and then see what religion it matches!! Good Luck!

FAQ: What books are in the Word and what are apocrypha?
"The books of the Word are all those which have the internal sense; but those books which have not the internal sense, are not the Word. The books of the Word, in the Old Testament, are the five Books of Moses, the Book of Joshua, the Book of Judges, the two Books of Samuel, the two Books of Kings, the Psalms of David, the Prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi: and in the New Testament, the four Evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John; and the Apocalypse. The rest have not the internal sense" (Arcana Coelestia n. 10325 or Heavenly Doctrine n. 266).
The Bible has an internal sense and a literal sense. The internal sense is guarded by the literal. If you want to know what the internal sense deals with it deals with the Lord and His church.

I perfer to call my personal belifs as free from a discription that would just enable someone to assign some sticker or label that exsplains exsactly what it is since if your asked.. you just say the base religion and the 4 or 5 adjectives before after or in the middle.
Then again with all the effort usualy one gets affixed anyway. Its pretty new age.. if you can call it new age since its been a growing movement since the 40's
New age has the foundation that god is the sum total of all things in exsistence. Thought he core belief is gnosticisim. its the logical next step after agnostic stance on religion and most things. Where agnostic folks perfer to have things proven to them.. and idea such as faith is not justifiable or deamonised esily by pointing to a 2000 year old manuscript.
Gnosticisim is studying religion.. all religion and developing a deep anylasys of ones relationship with god.. Whitch.. is the defonition of spirituality.. its a little more correct to what most people do anyway weither you agree with someone about where you fit in infinity and god or you perfer to figure this out yourself from a sum total of concepts until something rings true.
Being a gnostic means doing your own seeking your own finding and realising.
Gnosticisim also gives rise to alot of diffrent interpereitations.. the underlying rule to it is that each one.. should be considerd unique in thier understanding.
In my opinion as opposed to being told about good and seeking god has given rise to a higher and higher membership of empowering faith such as the evengilists. But Im guessing lutheran evangilists are fairly mellow.
Regaurdless however.. you can seek community.. but to seek god you should honestly loose your fear and gain your love of god on your own exspanding and loving terms.

i guess in some ways we kind of in the same situation. I am a child of God is the best I can tell because I have studies as many religions as I can find and none I see as right or wrong. I say there is good and bad in all but the standards they have in each to me is what keeps all religions divided. I believe in God I believe he sent his son Jesus Christ through the virgin Mary to live and teach and die for our sins. died on the cross was placed in a tomb was risen from death and went to heaven to be with his father. I have God In my heart and so far i am doing fine without feeling the need to find one certain religion. I see myself as a light to help all that seek it. I do not force others to listen but offer my help if they so desire.

I believe every religion is based on one person's view of how the world should be- and that in itself is egoistical. I've read many religious books and have found invaluable lessons in all of them. Like everything in life, there is not only ONE right answer, but an amalgamation of every belief is needed to live a harmonious existence.

I was raised Methodist but have believed myself to be part of the earth centered religion of Wicca for several years. Recently I found that my beliefs are actually like the Kermetic Orthodoxy or Egyptian reconstructionists. They worship the ancient egyptian gods. I will be searching further into that religion.

I am muslim. Try to read only 2 pages of the Holy Quran everyday. Islam is to believe in God and God only. It is to be sincere to God. If you like to learn more, read the Holy Quran, I recommed " The meaning of the Holy Quran " translation. Or try to contact muslims around, or visit local mosque ( just type a zip code www.islamicfinder.org ).

And may Almighty God help you to find the truth.
By the way, the word Allah ( as far as I know ) has 2 parts , Al ( the) and ILAH ( God) -> Allah -> means " The God ".
Thank you.

I am a Christian and I don't attend any church. God did not create religion. If you want to find out what God wants you to believe then walk away from all churches and preachers an seek Him out on your own. That is the only way it can be done. To see a small summary of my beliefs then you can go to my below web-site.
May God lead you to his truths
