Im a 32 yr old single guy trying to decide between moving to san diego and LA. Was hoping i could get some nitty gritty details from those who have lived in both places...help me decide which is a better place to live! thanks!!

I dated a guy in San Diego while living in LA and the OC.
San Diego is not as fast paced and to me it seemed to be more of a college town and a military town. The cost of living seems a little cheaper in SD even though there are neighborhoods which are considered multi million dollar communities.
San Diego doesn't offer as much culture as LA, but they do offer a football team, a baseball team, and even a minor league hockey team. Plus OC is only 1 1/2 hr away if you want to go to the Arrowhead Pond and other cultural experiences.
You need to decide if you want the really big, big city or the feel of the city like San Diego. You are closer to the mexican border in SD, and the city has the typical big city problems like LA.
I would say, flip a coin! If you get a better job offer go with that city. Both have its pros and cons, so go with the money!

For beauty, you want San Diego without question. For culture and a better job market/better pay you want Los Angeles. I have lived in both.
