I eat 3 whole meals AND snack A LOT. I mean it when I say a lot, I eat ice-cream,tortilla chips, fruit yogurt, bananas, strawberries, blue berries, apple pies, choclate, power bar, chips etc.. ALL in the same day. I don't just eat ONE, I eat at least TWO or more of everything. I exercise early in the morning everyday at 6 AM. IS this BAD?? Does that mean I don't burn anything?? I also go bike riding 2/3 times a week for about 15-30 minutes.Plus crunches. What do you think?

Hmm, well I like a lot of the snax.. I'd skip the ice cream, tortilla chips, pies and chips. You can eat fresh fruit.. I luv chocolate but I eat like chocolate chips, one at a time out of the bag.. satisfies me. My husband loves power bars (got a lotta calories) but he swears by 'em. I execise at 6 a.m. too.. w/ a program (Gil) on fit.tv. I am a vegetarian, and marathon runner (5 miles.) I lost like 75 pounds 5 years ago. (I've got a 'floppy belly' .. ha.. but no operation! ..no way!) I weigh l20, but I'm muscular. I do a ton of crunches (l00) daily and my husband's a power lifter (weighs twice what I do) and I can use his stuff. He says he HAS to snack all day.. gives him energy. I love to snack too. I find when I eat a heavy meal even tho it's nutritious as hell I get 'sleepy.' (Sometimes ya just can't sleep, man.) I eat what I have a craving for as I find your body 'talks to you' and if you give it what it wants (like high fiber, low-fat.. I luv sugar/carbs=energy) you do NOT give in to some unhealthy food and 'gain weight back.' For chips I eat handfuls of cereals.. no kidding... Wheaties, Cheerios. They're packed w/vitamins and fill ya up. Luv yogurt. I eat 2..3 cans of beans a day (and your body gets used to 'em.. you don't PU the place up) instead of meat. sorry to ramble on bout me.. I like reading what someone else does for a health routine.. You didnt say if you were overweight.. I don't think if so it is by much.. from what you say.. later (melancholia)

Apparently exercising in the morning is supposed to be the best time! When you have a good exercise routine, your body continues to burn up calories even when you're not exercising. Eating snacks often is a good thing as long as they're not too junky or high in fat and bad stuff, your metabolism is at it highest when digesting food. My slimming club 'slimming world' works on this principle, I eat all day long and I lost 20lbs! Of course it's snacking on the right sort of foods though! Keep track of your weight and if you gain then try cutting down on chips and chocolate, if not then all's well!

This seems like an excessive amount of snacking. There is nothing wrong with having "a snack", but if you are eating enough snacks to count as another whole meal, you have a problem.

No, my trainer recommends it. As long as the snacks themselve are "healthy" and you don't go over your "allowances" it better to eat small snack throughout the day along with your balance meals. I'm just now finishing a Nabisco 100 calorie pack...and my starkist tuna salad kit...

Honestly, hardly ever. I don't have any snack food in my house and I'm usually too busy to think about snacking.

It's ok to snack, as long as the snacks aren't meal sized. Keep a balanced diet, excersize, and when you do snack, eat healthy. Smoothies, fruit, and cereal are always good. Keep excersizing also, and you should be fine.

It all depends upon your metabolism. Is your weight staying about the same? If so, then enjoy the provision God has made for your life and don't worry about it!

Sounds like you need alot of fuel for all the exercise you do..if you are healthy and maintain your weight and feel good about yourself then I wouldn't worry about it..
