How many of you went to work today and gave no thought to your coworker might not be saved? How many of you stayed home and watched tv and your neighbor is lost and undone without Christ? This is not to point fingers at you but to make you think about those around you.. We all need to witness to those who are not saved..

yes we need to witness.but if my neighbor goes to hell and burns for all of eternity do you really believe that God will point out the fact that the only reason he is there is because I did not witness to him.Everyone has a choice to reject or accept christ on their own.I am not standing between anyone and hell.Everyone standing before christ will have had their chance to get saved.Even nature itself should tell you there is a God.So there is what is required of natives in africa. To whom much is given much is required.Do you really believe somones eternall damnation all depends on whether or not I witnessed to them.If the Lord knows somone would get saved if they had the chance he will let them have that chance.weather its through me or some tragic loss in thier life ex. ex.
In the end no one will be without excuse.
I just cant stand it when ppl act like I am selfish because I dont witness to every last person who walks past me everyday.
Besides you can tell ppl about Christ all day long, but its how you LIVE that really sets the example.Enough with the guilt trips

YOu are way out of line baby.

Peter advised Christians to be prepared to give a defense in all meekness and humility to anyone who may ask of the hope that is within you.

Christ said let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father who is in heaven.

James says let not many of you become teachers knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

The point that I am making is this, nowhere in Scripture is the average Christian encouraged to just go out and start evangelizing everyone he meets.

Christ did say get the log out of your own eye before you remove the speck from you brother's.

If you live righteous, humble, responsibles, gracious life, then men will know the impact of it, and if they ask you about it, then you have an opportunity to evangelize them, but if they don't ask you about it then you should mind your own business and keep living your own life.

Paul says to run the race so as to win. The man who runs the race to win is not worried about anyone else and their race or their failure to run the race, he is totally committed to his own race.

He also said work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

There is a verse in Eccleisastes that says "do not be overly righteous or overly wise, why should you destroy yourself."

You talk about those who are saved and those who are not saved. Paul spoke much more humbly of the matter even though he was the great apostle.

He said those of us who are being saved, and concerning his own race, he did not say at any point that he had one or finished or was saved, but rather he said that he presses on toward the finish if by any mean he may attain to the hope of the perfection of the Sons of God in Jesus Christ.

You talk as if you have made it. You are the good Christian girl and now you can start getting others saved.

Christ said there will be many in that day who will say Lord, Lord and he will say I never knew you.

Even Phillip didn't just wander out into the desert but he had a specific commission from God to preach to the Ethiopian.

You should really mind your own business and quit worrying about other people's lives.

you have the same type of thinking as all the rest of the christian nations that no one is save except through your so called door of faith i have learn by studying with the different kind of preachers and so called witnesses to the values of their God and yet we all stand or fall on our own merit what you think is lost the one you think is lost feels very strongly that you are the one lost we all one family what happens to civilization is another question but those you feel are not saved aren't you becoming or worse usurping God's right to judge his own children . I think you have to look in to your own soul before you say I am lost.

Have you ever thought that perhaps that is what turns people off? Instead of witnessing, why not be a friend, live by example, etc. Then, when you feel the person is comfortable with you, invite him or her to church. Some people are much more comfortable with a low key approach.

Did you go to work and think about that today? What about yesterday? What about tomorrow? And if so, are you using an effective method to win them to Christ, or are you shoving it in their faces?

The best way to change the world is to start withourselves, and set an example. Questions like this will never help.

People around me know that I am a Christian, and that they are free to come and talk to me about my faith if they like.
However, I don't go around trying to shove my religion down anyone's throat.
In the long run, I've discovered that people are actually more interested in hearing what I have to say when they know I'm not going to preach at them about how their gonna fry in hell, or try to "save" them...and, before they know it, they are reading the Bible, thinking about God, and hey, guess what? God has actually given me the joy of being a part of bringing a few of His kids home to Him!

Nope, gave it a thought and got a response which will be remembered for the rest of his life.
But I get really angry with people who think that just because they talk about God to a co-worker think they are doing that co-worker some sort of favor. God requires obedience, worship, personal sanctification, in short Holiness. How many Xians hold out God to co-workers with unholy hands?

Just because someone doesn't follow Christianity doesn't mean they haven't heard the Good Word. I mean, c'mon, This is America: The Capitol of Churches and Televangelists!

It sounds to me like you haven't quite accepted that there are other religions out there that people prefer over Christianity.

its easy to think that way. Jesus and the12 apostles were all Israeli Jesus was Jewish As there manner was they were in the Synagogue on all of G-D's holy days, and every Sabbath day Paul was doing the same all his life. if a person was going to teach Christians about Jesus tell them that he kept G-D's Sabbaths and holy days then find out what Christ like really means

Amen, sister, and you're preaching to the choir. I try to find ways to witness at work, in the supermarket, on the street, wherever I go, i want to show how much I love my Lord and Father. Can you smile and say, "May God lay His healing hand upon you and your life."---to a stranger? I can, and do. UC Steve
