I was 38 when I got pregnant; 39 when I had my son. I was wishing for another child but my marriage broke up when I was 42. I met a guy at 43 and THOUGHT about having another child (I come from a family of 6 kids) but after I did the math, I decided that have a child at my age now (45), would mean potty training until I was almost 50!!!! (My son was 4 1/2 by the time he was trained.)
So in answer to your question: 40.

The cut back-off age to have a toddler is a private subject that each woman could come to a determination on her very own. Being a Christian, i do no longer use beginning administration. in the previous transforming into a Christian, I had in straightforward terms used it 3 months of my life and did no longer like the outcomes, so i ended. I certainly have 2 magnificent infants and am numerous years older than you and think of frequently of having yet another. now and back for the wellbeing of the mummy and toddler, a doctor will propose against it, yet isn't it ultimately as much as God? If God Blesses you with a toddler (at despite age) no count number if the toddler is a hundred% widely used or no longer, might you no longer nevertheless love that toddler? it is genuine that the older you get (once you're 40 or older) that the toddler has a greater physically powerful danger of being born with psychological retardation or different defects. yet, it is in straightforward terms a call which you may make on your guy or woman. even nonetheless, on the age of 24, you're at a suited age for toddler bearing. despite in case you wait 10 greater years. in many circumstances, the extreme danger of beginning defects comes after the age of 40. then back, at the instant, there are various things docs can do to ward off beginning defects, in case you're previous 40 and enable your rfile understand which you elect to have a toddler--folic acid is a solid preventative at any age once you elect to have a toddler. communicate with your physician approximately taking folic acid and, upon his suggestion, take it in the previous you adjust into pregnant. in any different case, prayer is going a protracted way.

i would prefer to have all of my kids before i am 30, considering i had my son(now 2) when i was 18. i would like to keep them all in the same age range, as well as be able to enjoy them growing up while i am still young and able to get around better.
p.s. any child conceived after the age of 40 has a 1 in 10 chance of being born with downs syndrome, a woman at the age of 35 has a 1 in 100 chance, compared to 1 in 1000 when you are in your 20's(information gathered from pamphlets given to me during pregnancy).

35!! Check the statistics!!
The likelihood that a woman under 30 who becomes pregnant will have a baby with Down syndrome is less than 1 in 1,000, but the chance of having a baby with Down syndrome increases to 1 in 400 for women who become pregnant at age 35.
I live in an area where women put their careers first, and then decided to have children later. This was waaaayyy too late in their lives! We have so many down syndrome people, whose parents can't take care of them anymore (because they were OLD and they're either in nursing homes - or DECEASED) - they have to be taken care of in a group home!
Women who try to conceive after the age of 35 not only increase their own medical risks, but carry more risks to the child.
I'm glad that I had my kids young - they're healthy, beautiful, and highly intelligent. I was old enough to have common sense and be a good mother, yet young enough to have enough energy to keep up with my kids - and have fun!
RELATIONSHIP OF DOWN SYNDROME INCIDENCE TO MOTHERS' AGE
Mothers Age
Incidence of Down Syndrome
Under 30 Less than 1 in 1,000
30 1 in 900
35 1 in 400
36 1 in 300
37 1 in 230
38 1 in 180
39 1 in 135
40 1 in 105
42 1 in 60
44 1 in 35
46 1 in 20
48 1 in 16
49 1 in 12
Think about it - if you're child is 35, and you had your child at 35 - you will be 70. Which means that you may never enjoy being a grandparent! And we all hope to live to the age of 100, but the facts are that we will more than likely die of a heart attack or stroke much earlier in life.
60% of women erroneously listed cancer as the leading cause of death among women. Deaths from all cancers in the USA are half as common as deaths from cardiovascular disease. Only 31% of women know that cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the USA.
Women should be BETTER mothers - and think not only of their own future, but their childrens' - and their grandchildrens'!!

Probably 42 or 43. I know it's pushing it, but I've had friends give birth at that age and everything worked out okay. The earlier the better, but sometimes it just doesn't work out that way! I'm working on my second now, hope to have the next one by the time I'm 36.
