How long has it been since he ate? What did the vet say was wrong with your dog? Did he/she prescribe medications? Is your dog drinking water?
If not drinking, force fluids. Pedilyte unfavored is excellent. Get sygrine (no needle) and place into dog's mouth. At least 5ml for small dog, 15-20 ml for larger dogs, every 15-30 minutes.
Take dog's temperture. Normal is 101-102. High fever like 104 -106, call your vet and start driving.
Offer plain white rice and boiled chicken, remove fat/skin.
Keep the fluids going. This is way more important to a sick animal than food.

i would get a vet straight away if he dosent drink soon he will dehydrate very quicky have you tried putting water in the palm of your hand to get him to drink i used to do that when my dog was poorly the boiled chicken and rice things ok if he is eating but is vomiting and has the sh1ts but fluid is the most important thing he needs right now he may need fluids via a drip if he gets worse at the vets or animal hospital its best to go back and get a second opinion. well done keep the palm thing going and all the best i hope he picks up soon

sometimes when an animal can't eat or drink it can have a blockage inside . if food and water cannot get through it comes back up again! if the vet did NOT mention this to you it is absolutely crucial to get immediate attention from ANOTHER vet .hopefully and likely it's just an upset tummy but really I would certainly NOT take the chance we could all play quessing games all day sweetheart but in the it's the medical people who really know but in the same token if you're not satified, there's nothing wrong in getting a second opinion! so good luck, it's nice to see that you really care about your pet bye for now. please let us know how got on .

It all depends on what is wrong with him. If he is in pain it may help to give him a coated aspirin wrapped up in liverwurst. Give him the dosage according to his weignt. If he is little, give him a baby aspirin.
Usually when dogs don't eat they have a problem- maybe they are sick to their stomachs or they are in pain. Is he hiding under the furniture? If so, he is probably in pain.
I'd try to feed him some meat broth or milk or make some rice and mix some cooked ground meat in it.
It would help to know what the vet said.

To know what the matter with you're pet, I need to hear what the vet said first, did they give you any meds? if that is true follow that the labal says and what you're vet said on how to give you're pet the meds. if none of those are working go to a better vet that had more years under there belt, that shold help for you're pet on the track to feel better soon

Go to the pet store and buy some nutrical. It comes in a tube like toothpaste. It is loaded with vitamins and minerals and is high calorie. It will help him until he is feeling better. Also helps to stimulate their appetite. If he is not better tho, I would take him to another vet and have him checked out good. If not, he may not last the weekend.

Take him to the vet again or if you have a veterinary hospital. There is obviously something wrong. Your dog is just like a child, you have to ask for answers and sometimes be adamant about it! Good Luck

Take your dog to an animal hospital. Search an animal hospital on a search engine. You can also take your dog back to the vet and explain what is going on and ask for information about how to treat your dog.

Rice or pasta, its really bland and easy to eat, my dog was very ill recently and to be honest id wait untill you hear from the vet, just in case surgery is required. I know how worried you are, hang in there xxxx
