What are your thoughts on people who send you nasty emails, in response to either a answer you give or a question you ask, then change their settings so you can't reply to them? Cowardly or just petty bitc*hes. Happened to me sooo many times. Any thoughts

Good answers. I allow communication in my profile so that if people DO have a problem with either my question or answer, we can discuss it freely. I just don't get sending a petty email and then blocking me so I can't respond.

That is what I refer to as the hit and run tactic. They aren't really interested in your reply to their opinion; they are only interested in spreading their own version of what they perceive as truth.
I, also, make myself available to talk if someone doesn't like my questions or answers. I believe two rational people should be able to have a conversation on anything even if they are of differing opinions.

contrary to belief, not every one enjoys such emails. I for one would "Block" u just because I don't enjoy the so-called emails. It doesn't make me petty, or a (insert curse word here) it just means that If I can control what comes into my email, then I WILL.

Perhaps, the person in question is a coward, but there really is nothing u could do to the mentioned person. Why they would send you something and then hide, or "ride out" (is what I call it) is just a way to get a rise out of u. And I must say, Mission Accomplished for them.......

Cheap shot. Sounds cowardly to me. I try to avoid controversy since making compelling arguments is difficult for me on line. I type too slow. The brain over runs the fat fingers and most of the thoughts end up in space.

Personally, I've never had one because I hide my e-mail address. But if I ever do, I'll probably just ignore it. And so what if they change their settings? I'm sure you can track their username down and give them a mean little message.
I've read some of your answers dude (come on, it's pretty hard to miss stewie) and, unlike most people here, you have a brain.

Huh! I've had a few nasty e-mails like you mentioned, but I never tried to reply to them. The people send the message off to you and then hide in the bushes? Hardly sporting of them!

It happens all the time, its just people who are insecure and can only say crap when they know you cant respond to anything otherwise they would be shown for what little intelligence they had.

I have my settings so people can't e-mail me from here.
But if it didn't, I expect I would print out and frame the "good" ones, but not respond to any of them.

What exactly are you placing in your emails to produce such vile results, obviously there is something more there than what you are telling us the "answers" community.

They want you to respond or be upset 'cos that's how they get their sick kicks in life.
